Beautifully situated in the midst of a unique mountain panorama
Our house is centrally located just a few minutes' walk from the village centre. In one of the most beautiful parts of Lech, the Omesberg, in an absolutely quiet location, you can experience the enchanting mountain landscape of Lech in our old Walser mountain farmhouse.
Walking paths and cross-country skiing trails in the Zugertal valley start right in front of our house, and the famous Madloch ski run is only a few swings away. The local bus stops around the corner and allows you to explore Lech and the surrounding villages.
After arriving at the Arlberg and driving along the Flexenstrasse or the Arlbergpass towards Zürs / Lech, the house "Omeshorn anno 1593" is easy to find. Coming from the direction of Zürs, a good 100 metres after the Lech town sign, turn left, towards Omesberg. Follow the road straight ahead, pass a small hill and continue along the road for about 500 metres. You will see our house on the right-hand side. There is a parking space directly in front of the house.
Travelling by car
In winter, you can reach Lech via the Inntal motorway A12 and the Arlberg Pass or Arlberg Tunnel from Innsbruck or via the Rheintal motorway A14 in the west. You can then take the Flexenstraße via Zürs to Lech. In summer, you can also take the routes via the Bregenz Forest and the Hochtannberg as well as via the Tyrolean Lech Valley. Please make sure you have the appropriate equipment in winter.

Please note that in winter it is not possible to travel via the village of Warth via Bregenzerwald or Lechtal! There is a winter closure between Warth and Lech!

Arrival by rail
The nearest international train stations are in Langen am Arlberg or St. Anton am Arlberg. From there there are regular bus connections and taxi transfers to Lech. Journey time: approx. 15 - 20 min. Order your taxi online at www.taxi-lech.at
